Welcome Andrew and Lisa!

Chester Eastside is excited to welcome the two newest members of our team, Executive Director Rev. Andrew Jacob and Operations Manager Lisa Sneed.
Rev. Andy comes to us most immediately from Hanover Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, where he transformed a struggling congregation into a vibrant worshipping community. He views CEI as “his dream job – to work with an agency that is addressing issues of social justice and peace.”
Lisa is responsible for overseeing the food pantry and procedures of the Out of School Time and Camp Phoenix programs, looking to maximize efficiencies while increasing the number of community participants.

We Have Excellent Volunteers!

CEI is fortunate to have excellent, dedicated volunteers, such as Dr. Anita Singh, who is involved with OST. She is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Biomedical Engineering program at Widener University and was recently awarded a five-year, 1.9 million grant from NIH to drive innovation and student research.
