Many thanks to representatives of Philadelphia Union and Chester City employees dropped off turkeys for our food pantry. You help to keep our shelves full. #philadelphiaunion #foodpantry #turkeys #foodinsecurity #chestereastside
CEI received more than 130 pounds of food from the Edgmont Community Park Food Collection. The contactless, drive-thru collection allowed county residents to drop off their donations, which were shared among six local pantries. Thanks for your generosity of food and time. #fooddrive #cannedgoods #pantrystaples #foodinsecurity #manythanks #chestereastside
Making holiday pillows and winter wall decorations is fun! Thanks to long-time CEI friends Torrey and Sara for sharing crafts and snacks with our Out of School Time children.
Torrey’s grandmother was Judy Coslett, for whom our Computer Learning Center is named. #crafts #snacks #pillows #wallhangings #outofschooltime #afterschoolclub #learningcenter #chestereastside
Our Out of School Time snacks are always healthy (like taco salad), but when we celebrate birthdays each month, we indulge. Time for make-your-own sundaes! Merry Birthday, December friends. #outofschooltime #afterschoolsnack #tacosalad #sundaes #HappyBirthday #chestereastside
Everyone was in the holiday spirit to celebrate the last day of Out of School Time until the New Year. See you in 2022! ##christmassweater #holidayspirit #seeyouin2022 #outofschooltime #chestereastside
Today is the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year (but they start getting longer beginning tomorrow!). Let Vivaldi welcome you to the season.

The Malcom Jenkins Foundation Holiday Dinner Basket Surprise provided five of our families with festive food baskets, filled with a turkey and all the nutritional staples and treats for their Christmas feast. Rev. Z and Janet picked up the baskets at West Philadelphia High School, then delivered them to the families. Many thanks for sharing the spirit of giving and helping us to strengthen our neighbors and communities. #HolidayDinnerBasketSurprise #TMJF #christmasdinner #spiritofgiving #chestereastside
Everyone found something to his or her liking at our annual Christmas bazaar. Families involved in our food ministry and Out of School Time program selected among new and gently-used household and clothing items, books and toys; handmade hats, scarves, mittens, baby sweaters and blankets and received gift cards to purchase additional presents. Merry Christmas to all!
